A. Nationality
Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from certain countries (Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African nations) with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Candidates falling under certain foreign-origin categories require a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India (except Gorkha subjects of Nepal).
B. Age Limit (As on 01 October 2025)

Important Notes:
