1. Educational Qualifications
- General/EWS Candidates: The Candidates must have 55% or more in a Master’s degree or equivalent.
- OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, and Third Gender: The Candidates appearing in the CSIR NET exam 2024, requires at least 50% in a Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Students in the Final Year or Awaiting Results: The students in the final year or awaiting results can apply provisionally but the candidates must secure the required percentage within two years of the NET result.
- For Ph.D. admission: Deadline is one year.
- Four-Year Bachelor’s Degree: Requires 75% marks (or equivalent grade). Relaxation of 5% for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwD, and EWS. Eligible for JRF and Ph.D. admission but not for Assistant Professor roles.
2. Special Relaxations
- Third Gender Candidates: Same fee, age, and eligibility relaxations as SC/ST/PwD categories.
