The CISF Assistant Commandants Examination, 2025, notification was released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 4 December 2024. To be eligible, candidates must meet the criteria as given below.
1. Nationality
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Age Limit
- The maximum age limit is 35 years as of 1 August 2025.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years relaxation.
3. Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (Graduation) from a recognized university.
4. Service Requirements
- The candidate must:
- Be serving as a Sub-Inspector (GD) or Inspector (GD) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
- Have completed four years of regular service as of 1 January 2025, including training.
- Have a clean service record.
5. Physical Standards
Candidates must meet the prescribed physical and medical standards set by the CISF for selection. These include:
- Height, Weight, and Chest Measurements: As per the CISF norms.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be in sound physical and mental health, capable of performing duties efficiently.
6. Other Conditions
- Candidates must ensure their service record is free of adverse entries and their performance is satisfactory.
- A No Objection Certificate (NOC) must be obtained from the employer (CISF).
